Foward-Thinking Leadership to Deliver Results for Our Community

Cynthia invites the community to join her in building a thriving Northeast and El Paso:
Raised in the Northeast, a proud graduate of Andress High School and committed to service to the El Paso community, Cynthia has served in various community organizations including the El Paso Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) as Director of the Women of ALPFA Program, as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) for the El Paso/Las Cruces Chapter and as a past Advisory Board Member with the El Paso Chamber. Her dedication to elevating the underserved and underrepresented has earned her national recognition, including an invitation from Vice President Kamala Harris to a reception honoring remarkable Latina leaders in the US.

As the Founder and CEO of Crowning Point, a leading training and consulting firm, Cynthia is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to reach their fullest potential. She is also the Founder and President of In Her Element Foundation, a nonprofit organization that serves underrepresented and underserved girls and women with resources and support systems to advance in their careers and propel them to the forefront of leadership. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the Franchise Management Certificate Program from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Fellow of the Aspen Institute Latinos & Society.
Now, Cynthia is stepping into a new arena: politics. With her passion for community and a vision for a brighter future, Cynthia is running to represent the interests and values of District 4 in the Northeast and the community of El Paso.
Cynthia’s campaign for El Paso City Council - District 4 focuses on three key areas:
Strong Leadership to Drive Economic Development:
Cynthia is dedicated to providing strong leadership to advance the development and well-being of District 4 in the Northeast and the El Paso community. "Advocating and representing El Paso well is key to attracting advanced industries that provide sustainable employment and elevate our quality of life."
Community-Driven Solutions:
She emphasizes the need for leadership that listens to the community’s input. "I am committed to attracting a diverse range of businesses to Northeast El Paso and involving the community to identify the services needed, including a hospital to support the needs of our growing population. This is essential to growing our tax base and reducing the tax burden for city residents.”
Public Safety and Improved Public Spaces:
Cynthia will make public safety a priority and support resources to preserve El Paso’s safe city status. “I will prioritize initiating strategies and programs to attract and retain sufficient law enforcement and fire professionals to serve our community and keep it safe.” She will advocate for improved streets and public spaces, including parks and neighborhood facilities such as aquatic centers and libraries. “As Northeast El Paso continues to grow, it is necessary to have leadership that understands the importance of well-maintained and accessible public spaces. These spaces provide recreational opportunities, improve community engagement, and enhance our quality of life.”
